The trust is founded on
absolute secular values and commits to endeavor for the being of the rural population
of the entire Indian territory with global / universal concerns irrespective of cast,
creed of color and race, religion or language.
” The love of Christ controls and urges and impels us…” (2.Cor. 5:14)
The Objectives of the Trust shall be:
A. LITERACY & EDUCATION:
- To establish, maintain, run, develop, improve, extend, grant, donate for and to aid in the establishment, maintenance, improvement and extension of all forms of educational institution imparting formal and non-formal education; including schools, colleges, universities, vocational training centres, professional studies, research centres also hostels and the such for students pursuing their studies and to those otherwise challenged also. The disciplines will include arts, commerce, science, engineering, medicine, agriculture, theology, information technology, biotechnology etc.
- To establish, maintain, run, develop, improve, extend, grant, donate for and to aid in the establishment, maintenance, running, development improvement and extension of laboratories and research units for the promotion of commerce, science, engineering, medicine, agriculture, information technology, bio-technology and allied services and such of those disciplines that would contribute to the advancement of the global community.
- To foster interdisciplinary development education in different sectors for integrating diverse aspects of life and development, facilitating flexible and innovative production systems and ensuring peoples total awareness, motivation, confidence, commitment and participation in all development projects and programmes so as to make them effective, successful and result oriented.
- To conduct and sponsor seminars, conferences, symposia and lectures on current and future development plans, policies, projects, programs and problems of local, regional, national and international importance by bringing together government, business, academic, civic and media leaders for promoting arts and science, and allied services and to foster inter-organizational efforts in development process through fruitful exchange of information, knowledge, ideas, experiences and advice, and comprehensive understanding of the intricate linkages between economic and non-economic variables.
- To institute studentship, scholarships, stipends, medals, prizes etc., to help and encourage deserving students and to provide monetary support to students, scholars and teachers for pursing their education.
- To organize, conduct and assist in the organizing and conducting of lectures, seminars, workshops and symposiums on arts, science, agriculture, commerce, management, leadership and such other subjects of general and academic interest to people.
- To do all that is necessary and incidental for the purpose of achieving the objectives (1) to (6) above.
B. HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE:
- To organize, to operationalise and to assist in the organization of health clinic and medical camps whenever and wherever necessary.
- To establish, institute, run, develop, improve, grant, donate for and to aid in the establishment, maintenance, running, development improvement and extension of health establishments of all stature such as Universities, Colleges and Vocational units of institution for the promotion of studies in medicine, nursing care and paramedical facilities deemed essential for the well-being of the humanity in the global context.
- To establish, maintain, run, develop, improve, extend, grant, donate for and to aid in the establishment, maintenance, running, development improvement and extension of all forms of hospitals, clinics, dispensaries, medical laboratories, research units with special emphasis on both modern and traditional health systems to be more complimentary to the clause 2 specified above.
- To launch educational campaign and demonstrations in order to bring about better civic sense and health behaviour among the citizenry and medical camps also to propagate, preserve and promote environmental sanitation and ecological balance.
- To do all that is necessary and incidental for the purpose of achieving the objectives (1) to (4) above.
C. ENVIRONMENT & ECOLOGY:
- To assist the rural community to develop environmental awareness and to promote social forestry and to endeavour for the conservation of natural resources and to embark on afforestation and such of those activities falling under the purview of Section 35 CCB of the Income Tax Act 1961.
- To strive for the augmentation of drinking water in rural areas and urban slums and promotion of welfare projects for the uplift of socially and economically weaker section of the society, and non-conventional and renewable source of energy systems and pollution control measures duly governed by the provision of section 35 AC of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
- To effectively contribute to the cause of Global Warming, Climate Change and Natural Resource Management through innovation, propagation and embarkation of appropriate techniques of Soil and Water Conservation
- To research, invent, pre-test, qualify, apply and propagate alternate source of energy for the benefit of humankind and to conserve environment and ecology.
- To propagate viable form of Renewable Energy through judicial extraction and prudential management of natural resource to conserve environment and ecology.
- To do all that is necessary and incidental for the purpose of achieving the objectives (1) to (5) above.
D. PUBLIC UTILITIES & AMENITIES:
- To establish and operationalise free public libraries and places of congregation and to provide amenities through appropriate means and measures for the promotion of better transportation and communication in the urban and rural sector.
- To provide amenities for and to hold discourses on Indian Philosophy, History, Culture and other allied subjects as to promote and cherish our heritage, tradition, culture and our way of life.
- To establish, operationalise and maintain systems of public convenience such as bus shelters, drinking water points, child care centres, working men’s and women’s hostels, toilets and such other provisions in the large interest of the public irrespective of caste, creed or colour.
- To compile, edit, print and publish literature with a view to sharing ideas and experiences in the spheres of relief, rehabilitation, and development and also in the aspects of different disciplines those ensure advancement of humankind in the social, economic, cultural and spiritual dimensions.
- To do all that is necessary and incidental for the purpose of achieving the objectives (1) to (4) above.
E. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT:
In the context of community development endeavour of the TRUST, Rural Development also commands priority and the term “rural areas” is understoodas defined in clause (b) of the explanation to sub-section (i) of section 35 CCA of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
- To extend assistance for all round development to small and marginal farmers, land less labourers, rural artisans and such other economically weaker sections, slum and pavement dwellers; through sharing of new/modern and critical knowledge, developing skills and making available necessary inputs through appropriate sources.
- To work in liaison with appropriate government bodies and departments viz: Women and Child Welfare, Social Welfare, Health and Family Welfare, SC & ST Development, Industries and Commerce, Human Resource Development, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj and such other source and avail all the facilities extended for the communities in need.
- To promote agriculture by enabling land less peasants secure lands through appropriate measures and to contribute to the maximisation of production through promotion of irrigation, application of improvised tools, techniques and systems in order to make the small and marginal farmers economically viable and socially dignified.
- To promote to the favour of the land less agriculture labourers and small and marginal farmers and the rural artisans; viable agro-based activities and appropriate technologies in order to provide alternate source of livelihood and to ensure subsidiary income generation.
- To do all that is necessary and incidental for the purpose of achieving the objectives (1) to (4) above.
F. CHARITABLE CONCERN:
- To establish, institute, run, develop, improve, grant, donate for and to aid in the establishment, maintenance, running, development, improvement and extension of establishments such as Orphanages, Homes for the Aged, and such other facilities to lessen their suffering through necessary provisions in favour of abused and abandoned, orphaned and ostracized, aged and infirm, physically and mentally challenged, widows and such of those in distress on absolute charitable basis.
- To establish, institute, run, develop, improve, grant, donate for and to aid in the establishment, maintenance, running, development, improvement and extension of establishments such as Half way Homes, Rehabilitation Centres, Vocational Training Centres and such facilities that would mainstream the less-endowed and dispel disparities.
- To embark on emergency relief in favour of the victims of man-made and natural calamities of all nature in any part of the globe with humanitarian concern.
- To embark on long term measures of rehabilitation and appropriate exercises for vulnerability reduction in favour of victims of man-made and natural calamities.
- To do all that is necessary and incidental for the purpose of achieving the objectives (1) to (4) above.
